Here we will be looking at various blogging tips to help you more successful with your blogging career. As you can see by the title, this post will provide exactly 101 blogging tips to help you as much as possible, but in 2 parts so stay tuned for more.

I will go straight into a bullet point system, best to keep it short and sweet I think. 101 Blogging Tips part 1 of 2 (link for part two HERE and at the bottom of the page):
1. How to get rid of that ugly Blogger Navbar – Go to the Layout section and select “Edit HTML” and paste the code just before the /*profile bit. : #navbar-iframe {display:none; visibility:hidden; height:0px;} 2. Make sure your website name is the same as your blog title. 3. If possible, have keywords in your domain (URL). 4. If you have the time to learn SEO, it is much cheaper than hiring one and can often be just as effective. 5. Add a link on the design footer to get backlinks. 6. Comment on other blogs – Very important for building rep 7. Make friends with blogs in same niche, an easy way to get backlinks. 8. Join as many Blog Directories as possible. 9. Make your blog funny and enjoyable to read. It goes a long way 10. The more content the better. Search Engines like content. 11. Add pictures to your post, it will make it look better. 12. Use all the Social Media Sites to promote your blog. 13. Use social media, but professionally and respectfully. 14. Dont cheat with your ad programmes, its not worth while. 15. Share your experiences, bad ones too. People read your blog to learn. 16. Be passionate about what you write. 17. Aim to be an pro in your topic. 18. Read more than you write. Organize your RSS subscription. 19. Proofread twice before you publish – Accuracy goes a long way. 20. Use big headings that stand out well. 21. Use feedburner. 22. Back up all your blog files, you never know… 23. Make a note of all your passwords (i.e Blog Directories), I have over 100 hundred. 24. Use Google’s Webmaster tools. 25. Don’t have any broken links. Search Engines don’t like it, nor do readers.
26. Keywords must be search-able. 27. Answer to comments on a regular basis 28. Be patient, success will not happen over night. 29. Leave relevant comments. One-line comments are frowned upon and often deleted. 30. Don’t be afraid to link to other blogs, your competition is your best friend. 31. Dont cover your site with 90% adsense, its a good way to scare readers off. 32. Post on regular intervals. People will learn to expect it. 33. Link to inner pages when commenting. 34. Don’t underestimate the use of keywords on your comment. 35. Visit your commenter’s’ sites. Reciprocal commenting is the key. 36. Be patient, the Google sandbox effect is real. 37. For blogging tips, read ProBlogger. 38. Keep a notepad handy, make a note of any useful info you learn. 39. Don’t use ad programmes to early, it shows you are there only to make money. 40. Have long posts and be very informative. 41. Make your content unique. 42. Use local advertising (i.e a bus stop). 43. Have a simple URL, the easier to remember the better. 44. Read every day on your chosen subject. 45. Make the layout decent and clear. 46. Plan before you blog. This will save time and have a better layout. 47. Offer Email subscription. 48.
