Leaders are Made, NOT born!. Ever since Joining the network Marketing industry has make me realised how important it is in building and maintaining a strong cohesive team whom can work, grow and progress with you to achieve long term success…

As a leader in any network marketing business, keeping your team or downlines are key challenges.  Three  Key challenges faced by network marketing leaders nowsaday are:

  1. Team members are not engaged and leave the business not long after joining
  2. A Non-productive team, Team not able to generate results or produce any sales.
  3. Lack of knowledge or system to provide and support the team growth

To have a highly engaged and productive team, first we need to know and understand the reasons why people join us. People join a network marketing business is not only because of business itself that can create success and make extra income, but because of who they will work with… If we are not prepared or are not equipped with the best of what a leader can be, in no time, the team will not grow and likewise business.

As a Leader to successfully lead a team of marketers, we need to continuously learn new system, new technology and process to educate and train our members. Its about YOU as a Leader in providing value, mentorship and coaching to build up the competency of your team to further grow your network marketing empire…

This may sound too complicated and time consuming, but its not hard to turn into a successful leader fast. if you really know what you need to do..  I have been leading downlines, people for many years.. Here is what i can share.

  1. Know Your vision and Goal
    Give Your team a vision and direction on where you want them to go to create success. What strategy do you have?
  2. 1×1 Communication
    Have a weekly communicate with individual. 1×1 call or meeting with individual will help to enhance relation and to further understand issues and concern. If you have a group of 100 or more members how can you possibly have a 1×1 meeting. Here is the tips, meet those that you can directly influence or your direct reporting. Each meeting should spend a max of 45mins.
  3. Leveraging on System and Tools
    Provide your team with system or tools which they could leverage to grow the business further. Leverage on Internet Tools such as social media to grow network marketing business.
  4. Share Best practise
    Organise Team meeting to share best practices. Learn from each others…
  5. Training
    This is a must, be it product, services or system training.
  6. Take Action
    Walk the Talk. Take action and lead by example. Do and be committed.
  7. Mentorship Program
    Identify potential future leaders to be mentor for people within the team who are lagging behind. If you are following this key principle to build your team, be it in an organisation or a networking business, you will emerge yourself as a leader in your industry..
