The event also touched on the larger themes of microfinance policy and fighting poverty, including how loans provided by microfinance institutions can help the working poor come out of poverty and begin to realize the possibilities of longer-term assets such as a thriving business, home, and nest-egg for retirement, as well as the systemic and institutional challenges the microfinance industry faces in reaching the world’s poor.

Microplace and eBay are 2 different things… I am sorry you didn’t make enough bottom line on eBay, but really that has NOTHING to do with Microplace! Microplace is and AWESOME opportunity to help people in the world, but without throwing money at the problems. Giving people money doesn’t change their life but lending them money and requiring it be paid back enables people to improve their own life! Go Mircoplace!
Problem with eBay is,it takes almost 10% out rightly, Together with Paypal fee it makes it inviable to transact.
My experience with eBay,it suits only if you have something of no-value to you,which you could sale for no gain or little gain.
I sold furniture on eBay,I end up paying to eBay with almost no profit to my business.
Paypal is Switzerland based international banking,easy and convenient,Its not friendly to vendor.
