The Goal Bands Game from Black Belt Goals Inc. is a great new learning game that makes it really simple for people of all ages to achieve important life goals. It works by providing a reminder system that is made up of different colored wristbands, think karate belts, and serves like grandma’s “string around her finger” memory aid, only better.
The object is for GBG users to set daily behavioral goals for themselves and then to wear one of the wristbands as a constant reminder of these goals ( the first wristband worn is the yellow one and then you move to the next color, in karate belt order, after every successful day of goal achievement ).
The GBG works really well because it provides a constant reminder ( 24 hrs a day, 7 days of the week ) for the user that is both visual and tactile. In other words, it is hard to eat that cheeseburger, smoke that cigarette, forget to study for your test, skip your daily walk, leave your bed unmade, teeth unbrushed or fail in the 1,000′s of other potential goals that you can set, regardless your age or disposition, with the darn wristband staring you in the face at all times.
