January 2nd 2008 – You’re always your worst critic

Today was spent kind of catching up at work. Most everyone is on vacation still so it was kind of a skeleton crew.
After having luch with the fam at home and playing with Tam on the Wii, I headed back to work and shot a tutorial for this weeks podcast. This weeks lesson will be on focus and the self portrait. I think the newbies will find it helpful and it might even teach some of the old pros a new trick or two.
After work I headed to Nick’s house to shoot his family before his Mom heads back to Wisconsin. She’s cooking us dinner tomorrow!
So what is this photo about? Well, now that I’m back to focusing on myself… I began to notice all those new wrinkles and thinning hair. And as I watched Nick behind the camera, his height reminded me of my below average size. Blah! Guess I had forgotten some lessons from 2006.
